From Practice to Teaching;
Trainer’s Training

This course is the most advanced program in MBS Academy’s comprehensive curriculum. Participants will prepare, study and be coached to become a world-class MBS Academy Trainer.
This curriculum is designed with a commitment to upholding the highest standards for the method at its purest form. The program is focused firmly on how to pass on the purity, power and clarity of the work.

• Examination of the foundations of Mia’s choice and development of teaching material
• Exploration of the unique
Awareness Through Movement™ and Functional Integration™ structures and hierarchical building development
• The important combination and integration of the
Awareness Through Movement™ and Functional Integration™.
• Selection and effective implementation of demonstrations during class
• Selecting, guiding and managing course-assistants
• Designing a program and curriculum


Course Overview
10 day training followed by apprenticing an
MBS Professional Foundation Training

Initial Training: February 4-14, 2010

Foundation Trainings:
USA training begins Spring 2011
Germany training begins Spring 2011
Japan training begins Spring 2011

Course Format
From Practice to Teaching consists of two stages:
1. Initial 10 day training
2. Apprentice for duration of 90 day MBS Professional Foundation Training

Participants will be evaluated and divided into teams dependent on participants abilities, team work, and competency of material. Each team will work together in assisting and leading portions of the Professional Foundation Trainings. Personal mentoring, guidance and continuous evaluation will occur through the courses.

Prerequisite
MBS Academy Master Practitioner Certification or equivalent amount of MBS Academy Studies

Application Process
Participants are eligible by invitation only.

Tuition
Tuition covers the initial 10 day training. All expenses for Professional Foundation Trainings, excluding tuition, is the responsibility of each participant.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the three year apprentice, students will be awarded the MBS Academy Trainers Certificate. Graduates will be eligible to join MBS Academy faculty.


MBS Academy’s From Practice to Training will begin in February 2010.
