AFTER FPT : THE INTERNSHIP

Program

* Upon successful completion of the First Phase - the three FPT seminars, the carefully selected graduates will receive the MBS Academy Feldenkrais Trainer in Training certificate.

Second phase: supervision and trainer certification

* Graduates will need to organize a 90-day Foundations Seminar course of their own, to be lead by themselves (60% of the time) with the supervision of Mia and/or Leora (40%).
* We encourage graduates to work in teams, in order to support each other with course organization and recruiting students
* These Foundation Seminar courses should include at least 30 students.
* Assistants in these courses must be approved by the MBS Academy. (During the FPT course you will undergo the assistant curriculum in order to be familiar with the expectations and training of your future assistants).
* At the end of this course, your students will receive the MBS Academy certificates, signed by the Academic Director of the MBS Academy (the same certificates we hand to students at end of MBS Academy Foundation Trainings).
* Upon satisfactory completion of this process, Trainers will receive the MBS Academy Feldenkrais Trainer certificate.
* Travel expenses for supervision (including transportation, hotel and food) for Mia and/or Leora, will be paid by the Trainers in Training.
* Supervision fees during this second phase will be euro €500.00 per day.

Future training seminars

* Following certification, Trainers can submit a request to the MBS Academy to run future MBS Academy Foundation trainings, with MBS Academy certificates handed out to their students upon successful completion of the training.
* Future seminars will be lead by the Trainers, with up to 40% co-instruction by MBS Academy faculty.
* MBS Academy faculty will be paid for their teaching time, including all travel expenses.
* Financial arrangements for future MBS Academy Foundations Seminars given by MBS Academy Feldenkrais Trainers: 15% of tuition will go to the MBS Academy, and a one-time administrative fee of €50.00 will be paid for each MBS Academy certificate.
* MBS Academy Feldenkrais Trainers will have access to up-to-date course material and curriculum, and will be authorized to make use of this material in their own subsequent MBS Academy Foundations Seminars.
* MBS Academy Feldenkrais Trainers who wish to maintain their certificate current, including access to updated materials and the right to carry out MBS Academy seminars and hand out MBS Academy certificates at the end, will be required to attend an annual meeting for a refresher seminar every year.

With the above structure in place, we believe that we can build a strong community that presents this unique work with a clear and unified voice.
