Course Description


The Coaching Course prepares candidates to provide guidance, help and support, for recent graduates of the Professional Foundations Training, who are in the process of gaining experience toward a Practitioner Certificate.

Successful completion of the course will entitle supervisors to give paid sessions to students in Practitioner Training, as well as a listing as Coach in the MBS Academy directory.

The course is open to people holding a valid MBS Academy Practitioner Certificate.

Course Information:

1. Graduate qualifications:
• Certificate of MBS Coaching
• Invitation to apply for work as MBS Coach
• Listing as Coach in MBS Directory

2. Program:
• 3 x 5-day Coaching seminars

3. Prerequisites for participation:
• Certificate of MBS Academy Practitioner
• Two Advanced workshops
• At least 100 hours total of FI and ATM within the last year, with no less than 40 hours of either FI or ATM
• Acceptance to coach training program by the MBS Academy Board.

4. Restrictions:
• Coaches must stay current by participating in the 3-day Coaching Workshop at least once every three years.
