Post-Graduate Program for Feldenkrais Teachers &
Practitioners

Programs
Celebrating 50 years since the beginning of her work with Moshe,
Mia will share an advanced program of
material that Moshe developed and taught her during their many
years together, but had no chance to present it himself in the few
short public trainings offered in San Francisco and Amherst with
Mia’s assistance.
During her many years of
teaching, Mia herself, and then with Leora, modeled, defined and
coded the work at its precise form, to make it easier to transfer
and practice. This is now being offered to Feldenkrais
practitioners and teachers, as a Postgraduate Certificate
Program.
First Post Graduate series: Filling in
information not covered in the basic trainings. Developing
codes-and-syntax-foundations toward the MBS Academy
comprehensively designed program of progress. This gives
a basis on which to build the next approximation to the core-logic,
simplicity and power of this work.
Certificate: Completion of Post
Graduate 30-day Seminar Series.

Course Contents:
Make
the Illusive Obvious explicit and usable:
• Hands-on
experience of naturalness and simplicity.
• Feel confidence
with straightforward knowing.
• Learn how to observe afresh each time, 'not
diagnose
& conclude' - allow what you see and feel to be your
reality.
This is the
essence of the true and authentic Feldenkrais
method.
Duration: Three 10- day
seminars.
Overview
of the first 10-day seminar:
Know Where You Are
The first in a series of approximations and defined skill-expansion
around the following topics:
•
Defining Movement Patterns – transferring to
FI’s
Detect and
follow underlying patterns, develop precise strategies for FI's,
assembling a strategy for seeing, designing and carrying out
FI’s.
•
Variations in Touch
Expand your toolbox in
qualities of touch, techniques, directions, nuances and your
mastery of effects.
•
Use patterns and learn from ATMs
Doing, observing and
sorting ATM’s into patterns of
essential movements. You will learn to identify pivotal points of
an ATM, begin to model it apply it to other ATM’s along a
logical path.
•
Applied FIs in Sequentially Progressive Steps
Exploring
sequences as defined above, explore a variety
of FI’ connected to a pattern and learn to build on it.
Develop a progressively deeper understanding of how the work is
assembled, just as Dr. Feldenkrais showed it to us.
Upon successful
completion, you will be awarded The Feldenkrais
Postgraduate Certificate, signed by Mia Segal
and Leora Gaster.
